Personal Integrity and Obedience

DISCLAIMER: The views of this blog and this post are purely my own thoughts and not a statement of behalf of any church.

Genesis 6:18

"But with thee will I establish amy bcovenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee."

So, reading about the flood, it was hard to think of how there are any promised blessings from this story. After I read this verse, it hit me, again from my last post, obedience and the promised blessings that come along with that. Even though God has made a covenant that he will not destroy the Earth by flood again, but we can be saved by obedience.

What I mean by being saved is that Satan won't be able to have any hold on us, if we diligently follow and cling to Christ. Imagine how hard it would be to do what is right when literally everyone around you is grossly sinning. It takes a lot of faith and personal integrity to be in that situation. I have a hard enough time when it comes to being in a group of 5, I can't imagine the whole earth being evil.
